Finnish Sauna
The sauna stands alone from the lodge and is heated to around 80°C. While a hot sauna may seem cruel punishment to unexperienced bathers, it is actually a very pleasant experience. All you need is a towel and half an hour of ones time.
The old Finnish proverb "If a sauna, liquor and tar don't help, your condition is fatal". It does not of course mean that these three potent medicines should be taken simultaeously.
Cure has always been sought in the sauna for muscles and limbs sore and weary after a long days exercise.
The sauna can also sooth the mind and provide agreeable sensations.
After the sauna there is no hurry anywhere just kick back and relax.
