The area surrounding Lazyday Cottages has plenty of activities for children of all ages, whether you want a family adventure or a relaxing day out, the Scottish Borders and North-Northumberland has plenty to offer. Here are some of our favourite things to do for all ages:
Berwick Sports & Leisure Centre
If the weather has taken a turn for the worse, as it can do in the UK, the brand-new state of the art Berwick Sports & Leisure Centre is perfect for an indoor family day out. The centre boasts a three-storey soft play perfect for keeping children entertained for hours and a café nearby so that you can enjoy a hot coffee & cake while watching the kids play. It also has three swimming pool areas including a splash area with slides for all ages, especially those big kids amongst us.

Delve deep into the history of Paxton House with a tour around the beautiful mansion and discover the wealth of stories that it holds.
Ford & Etal Estates – Heatherslaw Light Railway
Tucked away in the North-Northumberland landscape is Ford & Etal Estate, with lots to offer in the way of family days out and places to eat.
